𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘅 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗶𝗢𝗦 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴
Unless identified, it runs us unconsciously, and it’s the reason for shaky hands, knees and voice, why presenters go bright red, or put the pedal to the metal and zoooooom through their content as quickly as possible.
The source, your 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘅.
The term Matrix means womb. In Neuro Semantics, Dr. Michael Hall uses the term to describe how we, as human beings give birth to meaning, every moment of every day.
From birth, we’ve created this 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 (𝗶𝗢𝗦) that we've programmed with all our beliefs, meanings, intentions, permissions or taboos etc. about how we use our voice.
Thing is, 𝙬𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙉𝙊𝙏 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙫𝙚𝙨.
Waking up to our 𝗶𝗢𝗦 allows us to also wake up to our 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲, untapped 𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀, reconnect with our 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 and open up a whole new world of 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀.
"𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙃𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙏𝙤 𝙇𝙚𝙩 𝙄𝙩 𝘼𝙡𝙡 𝙂𝙤, 𝙉𝙚𝙤 - 𝙁𝙚𝙖𝙧, 𝘿𝙤𝙪𝙗𝙩, 𝘼𝙣𝙙 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙛. 𝙁𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙙!" 𝙈𝙤𝙧𝙥𝙝𝙚𝙪𝙨 - 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙭.
Once we 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗻 to it, we get to 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 and 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 a more empowered 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙭 within our neurology so that we’re literally upgrading our iOS and rewiring our brain for different results -
A new 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘅 that births deeper connection to self, our message and our audience.
What do you believe about YOU as a presenter?
Do you believe you're good at it? That you suck? Perhaps it's that you weren't born a natural public speaker, and so you'll never be able to do it professionally.
When you answer that question, what state does that put you in? What arises in your body? Fear, disappointment, hopelessness, anxiety?
The first step to changing our Matrix is awareness, becoming aware of what we think and how that determines how we feel.
